Option 1: Via Client Portal

  • Log in to client.scyhost.com
  • Services -> My Services -> your hosting plan
  • Click Change Password
  • Enter and confirm new password -> Save

    • Option 2: Via cPanel Directly

  • Log in to cPanel
  • Click your username top right
  • Select Password and Security
  • Enter current password then new password twice
  • Click Change Password

    • Password Tips

    • Minimum 12 characters
    • Mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols
    • Use a password manager (Bitwarden, 1Password)

      • After Changing Password

      Update your password in:

    • FTP clients (FileZilla)
    • Email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird)
    • Any scripts using cPanel credentials
